Man on Dallas flight arrested after bomb scare

A flight on its way to Dallas, TX was sent back to the Philadelphia International Airport (PIA) earlier this morning after a call came in around 7:00 a.m. claiming that there was a man with a liquid explosive trying to get past the TSA and onto a flight to Dallas.

By the time the call was received, the individual was already on the US Airways flight to Dallas, which departed at 7:39 a.m.

The plane turned back around and the man in question was arrested and taken into FBI custody at the PIA. By 9:30 am the plane was cleared, and passengers sitting near the man in custody are being interviewed at the scene. More details will be released by officials at 11:00 a.m.

In the meantime, the airport remains open, although several flights scheduled to travel between Philadelphia and Dallas today have been delayed.
