Robert McAlister is the risk and loss advisors director at Barney & Barney, LLC, in San Diego, California. His multi-faceted role includes business development and client services in areas such as risk management, business continuity and crisis management, and occupational safety and health. Prior to this position, McAlister was the safety and emergency response program manager for the city of San Diego. He has served San Diego in a number of capacities, both professionally and as a member of various boards and commissions. He is a former U.S. Marine where, as a recon instructor, he worked not only with USMC Special Forces, but also Navy Seals, U.S. Army Special Forces, and Ranger units.
