Barbara Citarella is the founder and president of RBC Limited, a health care and management consulting company. RBC Limited is the only organization deemed experts in disaster planning for the home care and hospice industry. Citarella and her award-winning team have published numerous articles and presented many workshops on this topic. She was the co-chairperson of the National Association for HomeCare and Hospice’s Hurricane Katrina Task Force and is currently serving as the industry’s pandemic flu expert and adviser to the National Association. She recently spoke at a national conference on disaster planning that included such other speakers as Governor Tom Ridge, Lt. General Russel Honore, and Mr. Bernard Kerik. Citarella has worked with many states and law enforcement agencies in the area of disaster preparedness.
