Bishop Charles V. Singletary, ACMC-III is a Certified Master Chaplain, homeland security chaplain, and hospice chaplain. He pastors the congregations at the Reformed Church of Oradell, and is the senior chaplain for the Bergen County Council of Churches and Bergen Regional Medical Center. He has completed training and earned a certificate in "Disaster Chaplain Training" in Disaster Spiritual Care, Field Operations, Disaster Mental Health, and Self-Care from the National Disaster Interfaiths Network (NDIN) in partnership with New York Disaster Interfaith Services (NYDIS).
Bishop Singletary is a graduate of Rutgers College, John Jay College, and Drew Theological Seminary in NJ. He has earned a MTS, master's and bachelor's degrees, as well as completed the Clinical Pastoral Education Residency Program at RWJUH in New Brunswick, NJ.
His professional memberships include The World Bishops Council, the Academy of Certified Chaplains, the Association of Professional Chaplains, the United States Chaplains Association, the American Board for Certification in Homeland Security, and the American Board Certified Master Chaplains Advisory Board.
